HOW TO PLAY THE DEMO

  1. Enter The Velvet Lounge — pay the 250 token cover. The Bookie greets you. Browse the day's slate of real sports games.
  2. Place a bet — click any moneyline or spread line. The line is locked at this moment with a SHA-256 seal. The Bookie always honors the line you took.
  3. Settle a bet — use the SETTLE button on any open bet to enter the actual game outcome. Winners get paid in tokens; losers forfeit.
  4. Borrow from The Loan Shark — visit the basement of the Pawn Shop. He'll lend you up to 500 tokens (NEUTRAL tier). 50% interest. 72 hours. Once in your lifetime.
  5. Default the loan — click "Force Default" to simulate failing to pay back in time. The Loan Shark issues a HARD_BAN. Word travels.
  6. Try to enter The Velvet Lounge again — the doorman doesn't even let you finish your sentence. "Your money's no good here, friend."
  7. Pay back the debt — the bans lift in reverse propagation. You regain access to all venues.
  8. Reset — click "Reset to Fresh State" at the top to wipe everything and start over.
